This is a transcript of an interview with Zachary Saber detailing his life story. He was born in Glendale, AZ in 1955 and grew up in a Navy family with an abusive mother. While his family moved around a lot he says that they had a better education than most and that when he was young and first overheard the  term \"queer\" he identified with it. He grew up as a tomboy and learned how to be a \"good butch\" from a call girl in his teens. Once he was old enough to, he joined the Air Force and hung out with many lesbians before being discharged for being a lesbian. After a lot of soul searching he decided to start a bar for lesbians with his partner at the time and described what he learned from that experience. After closing the bar and running a sex store for a while he decided it was time to transition. Considering the time of the transition, he didn't fully detail the effects but described the process up to the point he was at.
