On page 414, the words "Transexion" and "Transfeminate" are defined. Both terms are attributed to "Sir T. Browne" in reference to the physician and influential writer Sir Thomas Browne’s Pseudodoxia Epidemica (1646). This item was contributed to the DTA by Dr. Joseph Gamble of the University of Toledo Department of English.
